"Fire the Engines, Chart the Path
We're off to deliver the old man's wrath.
His the brain and ours the brawn
We sail for Old Man Thrawn!"
"You are here to tell me of a greater threat to this galaxy than even what lies beyond the Unknown Regions?" The Chiss folded his hands into a steeple as he sat in his chair aboard the Chimaera. The Star Destroyer had long since separated from the 7th Fleet due to the collapse of the Empire, and had since joined with the Grey Battalion. Thrawn acted as the strategic mind behind the operation along Clone Commander Kaal, with Kinara acting as the more diplomatic, covert leader of the faction. The fleet and army were substantial in size, but even it had its limits. Those glowing red eyes stared up at the shimmering visage of Golden perfection.
The Light had come personally, and her Son, Irral, to observe. The male dragon remained silent, his stance relaxed and at ease. He knew nothing could pose a threat to either of the Dragons, nor would anything even attempt. The female stood with grace and authority, though it was a motherly type of authority. Not too overbearing, yet resolute and steady. "That is concerning. It would, however, explain the disturbances my colleague has been feeling through The Force." he added softly. Both Dragons nodded.
"It is imperative that you rally the civilized nations of this universe. If you do not, it will fall to His fury." Came the feminine voice as she conjured a chair made from pure light, sitting opposite the Chiss Grand Admiral. "Draco and his All-Corrupting power is not one that is easily countered. Anti-Magic fields only slow him down. His Legion doesn't need the ships it controls to spread throughout space. Portals can and have been constructed, allowing them to focus on the shadow corridors leading to other planets within a single jump of what you call Hyperspace. Thankfully, he does not know of the Ascendency - He started south of your territory, and is expanding eastward. If one were to look at the Galactic Map normally, anyway." Light went on. She crossed her legs at the knee, her dress draping over her legs neatly. The battle Armor of Irral shimmered slightly, but remained. From that, Thrawn was able to gather that even he, the barrier and spear of Light, had been corrupted by this, Draco of the Shadows. Interesting.
"The Nations of the galaxy are not so easily united. Many are already at war with one another - To ask them to put aside their differences in place of a larger, common threat that we cannot easily prove or identify will take time. Time we may not have. I am not a diplomat, I am a warrior and a commander." Thrawn explained, lowering his hands to rest on the arm-rests of his chair, resting an ankle on his knee, slightly mirroring Light's posture. There were numerous factions within the world. Some large, such as the New Republic, or even the Imperial Remnant to the Northern parts of Wild Space. But then there were other factions... ones he and Kinara had no idea about. The would both be hard-pressed to gain their trust for this threat.
But alas, the fate of the realm depended on it.
